Our Sunday School Ministry exists to help parents fulfill their God-given responsibility of teaching their children about God’s incredible message of salvation in Jesus Christ.
During Sunday School, the children are taught about Jesus Christ, their Savior, Lord, and friend, and His loving care for them, beginning with creation. Our classes provide children with the opportunity to hear Bible Stories, sing songs, make new friends, and hear God’s love for them in Jesus Christ in an age-appropriate setting.

Bible Study
Bible Study
Adult Bible Study is held on Sunday mornings in the Parish Activity Center, before the Divine Service, at 8:45 am. Pastor Letcher is leading participants through the Book of Proverbs.
Children & Youth classes are held during the Education Hour, 8:45-9:45 AM every Sunday. Pre-K to grade school classes will begin at 9:00 AM for the summer months only.
Men’s Bible Study meets weekly at 6:30 am on Wednesdays at Curtis C’s Diner – 1039 Washington Rd. (Cedar Village). The current study is “Myth or Faith? Clearing up Common Misconceptions About Christianity.”
Women’s Bible Study: Women in the Word is a seasonal offering, typically from fall through spring, meeting once a week in the morning and evening. The 2025-2026 session is scheduled to begin in October. If you have questions about this group, please contact the Church Office or Donna Williams.
Christian Education:
Adult Christian Education: Varied small group sessions are offered throughout the year. These classes are designed to help instruct and enhance our understanding of the core teachings of Lutheranism/the Christian faith. In other words, it is an introduction to God’s message of salvation for you in Jesus Christ. For information regarding the schedule for these small group sessions, please contact the Church Office or Pastor Letcher.
